Multimedia Project to Bohdan Hawrylyshyn’s 95th Birthday Anniversary
This multimedia project consists of an updated book of memoirs “I remain a Ukrainian”, an audiobook of the same name, and multimedia materials recorded during the life of Bohdan Hawrylyshyn and after. The book contains QR-codes which link to a film about Bohdan Hawrylyshyn; a course of his lectures for Prometheus; and audio excerpts from his book read by famous Ukrainians including Viktor Halasiuk, Hanna Hopko, Oles Donii, Andrii Kulykov, Volodymyr Lavrenchuk, and Anzhelika Rudnytska, his daughters Christine Hawrylyshyn-Batruch and Patricia Shmorhun Hawrylyshyn, and Director of the Foundation Olena Bekreniova.
The book was published by The Old Lion Publishing House.
The project was supported by Radio Culture, who created a series of programs about music from the era of Bohdan Hawrylyshyn.
«We have republished Mr. Bohdan’s memoirs and supplemented them with multimedia materials which make the portrait of the person three-dimensional. The project shows a cheerful person who believed in people and loved life. Mr. Hawrylyshyn wanted to tell his story so that others would also believe in their own strength, and learn and act», – Olena Bekreniova, Director of the Foundation during 2017–2021.
