The Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation invites you apply to the “Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN 2023-2024”! Online application term is April 20th – May 14th (23:59, Kyiv time).

🟢 Are you ready to volunteer and work for youth with the youth-led organizations in Ukraine for the whole year?
Then apply to the “Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN 2023-2024” program!
“Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN” is an all-Ukrainian program aimed at activating talented youth to participate in international policy, spreading values of responsibility in society, and building a dialogue between the Ukrainian government and youth.
Requirements to participants:
- Сitizenship of Ukraine
- Age: 20 – 27 years old
- Excellent command of both written and spoken Ukrainian and English
- Relevant experience that includes demonstrated leadership and proactivity in tackling youth-related issues through volunteering, NGO, project management or community work, etc.
To apply:
- Record a short video on the topic “How do I encourage the youth of the world to support Ukraine”. Video should be in English.
- Prepare the link of your video and CV to attach to the Google Application at the Section II. (NB: You need submit the video in order your application to be considered. You are also encouraged to publish your video on your personal Facebook and/or Instagram igtv account with a tag of @ua.youthdelegate (FB) and/or @uayouthdelegate (Instagram) – this will be an asset to your application.)

- Receive a confirmation letter by Email.
Video requirements:
- Video format: any (from selfie to animation)!
- Duration: up to 1 minute (video exceeding 1 min will not be considered).
- Content: Tell us about your activities since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine. Pay attention to how exactly you involve the youth of the world in supporting Ukraine and briefly voice your idea of how the Youth Delegates to the UN program can contribute to your activities.
- Prepare a link to your video by first uploading it to Google Drive. This link will need to be added in the online application form for the program. Posting the video on your social networks will be considered as an advantage (tag the Youth Delegate Facebook page @ua.youthdelegate and/or @uayouthdelegate on Instagram when sharing your video).

The Ukrainian Youth Delegates to the UN program has been implemented successfully since 2014, firstly by the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Charitable Foundation and since 2017 by the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation. Partners of the program are the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The Ukrainian community in New York, especially the NGO Razom for Ukraine, also provides active organizational support to the program.
Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN program 2023-2024 is implemented by the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation under the USAID/ENGAGE activity, which is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Pact.
