The Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation
The Foundation carries forward the legacy of the distinguished Ukrainian Bohdan Hawrylyshyn and serves as a hub for new ideas and ethical solutions that shape Ukraine's recovery, leadership, and democratic development.

The Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation was established in 2017 by the wife and children of Bohdan Hawrylyshyn – an outstanding economist, visionary, philanthropist, co-founder of the World Economic Forum in Davos, and advisor to several Presidents of Ukraine.

FOUNDERS
Christine Hawrylyshyn-Batruch
A historian and lawyer by training, graduate of the University of Toronto and McGill University respectively. Acted for twenty years as VP Corporate Responsibility at Lundin Energy. From 2020 to 2025, acted as Senior Strategic Sustainability Advisor at the Lundin Group (Geneva), and of the Advisory Board of the Lundin Sustainability Chair at IMD. Since 2023, heads Anima Conseils, a sustainability consulting company. Member of the Advisory Board of IMD’s Responsible Reconstruction Fund and of the Advisory Editorial Board of I by IMD publication. Board member of multiple Ukraine related humanitarian organizations.
Patricia Shmorhun Hawrylyshyn
Swiss Canadian of Ukrainian heritage, raised in Geneva. Graduate of University of Geneva, Switzerland with Master’s from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Lives and works in Ukraine as a permanent resident. Founding Partner of Porcelain Medical Group in Kyiv (1995) , Co-founder of PSI-Pechersk International School in Kyiv, (1995), Former member of the Advisory Board of LifeLine Ukraine (2019)2031). Co-founder of MoveUkraine (2022).

Swiss & Canadian with Ukrainian heritage. Graduate University of Alberta (Edmonton-Canada) with an MBA from INSEAD (Fontainebleau-France) Was Founder & Managing Director of Euroventure Genevest (Geneva-Switzerland) then Founder and Managing Partner of Euroventure Ukraine (Kiyv-Ukraine) Currently on various Advisory & Board of directors & Senator of USBA (Swiss-Ukrainian Business Association).

Hawrylyshyn
Born in Canada, of Ukrainian heritage, wife of Bohdan Hawrylyshyn for 66 years, mother of three and grandmother of 7, residing in Geneva, Switzerland. Leonida Petrivna was her husband’s most trusted, appreciated and long-lasting advisor and supporter. Bohdan Hawrylyshyn sincerely loved and respected his wife.

Marianna Yeleiko
Director of the Foundation
PhD in Sociology. For over 10 years, she has worked with people, ideas, and projects at the intersection of education, culture, and civic life. Co-initiator of the Human Responsibility Day and a range of interdisciplinary educational and cultural-artistic projects. In her work, she combines strategic thinking, creative formats, and a focus on people and community. Graduate of the Strategic Thinking and Leadership Essentials programs (IMD, Switzerland) and the Women Leadership Program at MIM-Kyiv Business School.

Bohdan Mykhalchuk
Consultant for Project Development and Grant Initiatives
Manager of educational and social projects, lawyer. Works at the intersection of law, education, and the public sector. At the Foundation, he contributes to organizational development, grant support, and coordination of the Responsibility Award. He holds a Ph.D. in Law and serves as director of the Institute of Law at the Ostroh Academy.
Volodymyr Antkiv
Community Manager
Over 15 years of experience working with youth. At the Foundation, he manages engagement with program participants and alumni. Doctoral candidate at Vadym Hetman KNEU. Co-initiator of the Inter-Factional Parliamentary Association “In Memory of Bohdan Hawrylyshyn” in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Graduate of the School of Public Administration programs (Good Governance; Data-Driven Policy Writing and Visualization) and the Institute of Leadership and Management (Building Capable Communities) at UCU, as well as the Ukrainian School of Lawmaking at the Legislative Institute of the Verkhovna Rada. Involved in co-coordinating the Travelling Exhibition of the Declaration of Human Responsibility and the Responsibility Marathon.
Tetiana Mykhalchuk
Communications Manager
Has been with the Foundation for over 3 years. In 2025, she earned her PhD in Philology. Her research focuses on reading practices and children’s literature. Alongside managing communications, she is involved in co-coordinating the Foundation”s cultural and artistic projects (the Travelling Exhibition of the Declaration of Human Responsibilities, the “Book from Home” project (2023), and others).
Liubov Muzychuk
Financial Manager
A finance specialist with 6 years of experience in financial management at nonprofit organizations. She has experience with audits and cooperation with international donors. Works with nonprofits that deliver educational and youth programs.
Yelyzaveta Kaidash
Program Assistant
Student at the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, majoring in International Law. Over four years of involvement in the civic sector, including through youth councils. Serves as Deputy Head of the Youth Council at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. In 2025, she represented Ukraine as a youth delegate to the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. Since May 2025, she has been responsible at the Foundation for communications of the Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN program, organizing events in the field of youth diplomacy, and promoting Human Responsibility Day in Europe.
Dmytro Stretovych
IT Specialist
Over 5 years of experience with web technologies. Master’s degree in Computer Science from the National University of Ostroh Academy. Has created and maintained over 50 websites across various technology platforms (WordPress CMS, MODX Evolution CMS, and others) of varying complexity. Also provides consultancy on informatization matters. Beyond his interest in technology, his areas of interest include international relations.

Designer
Over 2 years of experience working with the visual identity and design of the Foundation’s educational and cultural projects, creating solutions that combine aesthetics, meaning, and values. She develops visual materials for digital platforms and social media, as well as print design. Holds a degree with honors in Fine Arts and two master’s degrees – in Physical Culture and Sports, and in Public Administration. Her interdisciplinary background shapes a visual language that is sensitive to people and processes, where design functions not merely as form but as a tool for impact and communication.
Nataliia Gavrylovska
Legal Specialist
A lawyer with over 10 years of experience. Works with individuals, companies, and projects at the intersection of the commercial, nonprofit, and IT sectors. In her work, she combines strategic thinking, deep legal expertise, and attention to the ethical standards of the nonprofit sector. She has experience managing and providing legal support for projects of varying complexity – from structuring technology startups to supporting large-scale social initiatives.
