
The First Charity Gala Dinner and a Silent Auction of the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation took place in Kyiv
On November 14, 2018 the First Charity Gala Dinner and a Silent Auction of the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation took place in Kyiv.
The purpose of the event was to support programs for youth launched by Dr. Bohdan Hawrylyshyn in 2012, a world known economist and scientist, an outstanding Ukrainian patriot and global visionary.
“Our goal is to create a critical mass of young Ukrainians, professional, responsible and patriotic, who will study the best world practices of state building and use the experience of effective countries for the transformation of Ukraine”, – Christine Batruch-Hawrylyshyn, President of the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation.
The event brought together national and international leaders, well-known personalities, business representatives and diplomats, cultural figures, young leaders from the foundations’ programs, in an warm, like-minded and generous atmosphere.
“We are grateful to our benefactors, who support the foundation’s programs, namely the “Young Generation Will Change Ukraine”, the “Ukrainian Youth Delegates to the UN” and “BH15” – project, based on the Declaration of Human Responsibilities created by Dr. Bohdan Hawrylyshyn”, – Patricia Shmorhun Hawrylyshyn, co-founder of the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation.
