Do you dream of spending a year representing the voice of Ukrainian youth at the UN General Assembly and other international events? The Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation invites you to apply for the new round of the Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN programme for 2026–2027. This nationwide programme has been engaging young people in international diplomacy for over 10 years, fostering a culture of responsibility and empowering young leaders to drive real change at both local and global levels.
Eligibility requirements:
- Ukrainian citizenship and residence in Ukraine.
- Age 20–27.
- Strong command of English (Upper-Intermediate or Advanced).
- Experience in the youth sector and affiliation with a Ukrainian youth organisation, initiative, or community.
How to apply:
- Record a short video on the topic: “What unique contribution can Ukrainian youth make to international dialogue today?” (1 minute, no speed-up).
- Complete the online application form: https://forms.gle/EvjqoyGsbtpnBhKQA (you will need to include links to your video and CV).
- Expect a confirmation email from the organisers after 26 April.

Applications are open from 6 to 26 April inclusive. The new delegates will be announced at the end of May.
The Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN programme has been running continuously since 2014. The Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation implements it in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. Since 2025, the programme has been financially supported by Razom for Ukraine. In 2020, Ukraine’s experience in running the programme was featured in the UN Handbook on the Youth Delegate Programme.
