Applications are now open for the Assistance Office of the Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN 2025–2026

Do you want to immerse yourself in the world of multilateral diplomacy and be part of changes that truly matter? This is your chance.

For over 10 years, the Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN program — supported by the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, and Razom — has been the voice of Ukrainian youth on global platforms, including the UN General Assembly, ECOSOC Youth Forum, and UNESCO.

This year, Ukraine is represented by Vitalina Shevchenko and Yan Earl-Ruzytskyi — and right now, they are forming their team.

👥 Who are we looking for?

  • Responsible, proactive, and active civic leaders;
  • Aged 14 to 35;
  • English language proficiency at B2 level or higher (CEFR). A certificate is not required but will be an advantage; knowledge of other foreign languages is welcome;
  • Strong interest in international relations, international law, public communications, public administration, journalism, political science, marketing, or IT.

(Certificates, experience, and education are a plus, but the key is your willingness and readiness to learn.)

📌 We offer three main work areas:

  • Analytics: preparing research on international political processes, foreign policy, etc.
  • Official correspondence: working with the texts of conventions, submissions, letters, appeals, official statements, and proposals for documents prepared within international platforms, including the UN; drafting position papers and official requests.
  • Communications: creating social media content, drafting press releases, public statements, and information campaigns.

💼 The office operates on a voluntary basis but offers high returns in knowledge, experience, and opportunities, such as:

  • First-hand experience interacting with the UN system and diplomatic missions;
  • Mentorship from youth delegates;
  • Online work from anywhere in the world and offline meetings in Kyiv;
  • Trainings in international correspondence, business English, and more;
  • The opportunity to receive an official certificate signed by the youth delegates and/or a personalized recommendation letter.

The most intensive phase of work will be in autumn 2025 during the UN General Assembly, but the office will operate throughout the entire mandate.
