Human Responsibility Day. Online marathon of the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation

On October 19, 2020, the great Ukrainian, visionary, well-known economist and philanthropist, author of the Declaration of Human Responsibility, Bohdan Hawrylyshyn would have turned 94 years old. This day the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation launches a major advocacy campaign to support the implementation of the All-Ukrainian Human Responsibility Day.

After all, can human rights exist without human responsibility? In the current realities of the global economic crisis and pandemic, the word “responsibility” is becoming more and more important. In addition to administrative or criminal liability, we are beginning to understand responsibility as a voluntary duty, responsibility at all levels – to ourselves and the world, conscious choice of our own position in life and lifestyle that can create positive change. 

During the online marathon, famous Ukrainian men and women will become the voices of each of the points of the Declaration of Human Responsibilities and express their views on a responsible attitude to life.
