Responsibility through design: project Kachorovska #BH15

In 2014, Bohdan Hawrylyshyn created the Declaration of Human Responsibilities, a  15 statements which became the basis of a collaborative project between Ukrainian fashion brand Kachorovska and the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation.

On February 27, 2019, Kachorovska presented the results of the project, a new collection of bags called Kachorovska #BH15. Our social collaboration started at the end of 2018, when the collection was presented at the Foundation’s Charity Gala and included 15 unique bags featuring each of the 15 points of Bohdan Hawrylyshyn’s Declaration of Human Responsibilities.

Following the auction, the collection was presented in Ukraine House at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Having received hugely positive support from the event, founders of Kachorovska brand decided to continue producing the line of bags, with 20% of sales profits going towards the support of the BHFF’s programs.

The collection includes Erna Mini bags in three standard colors (beige, pale pink, black). The bags are handmade from natural Italian leather by Kachorovska brand masters. Each of the bags has a unique printed belt/strap inscribed with one of the points of the Declaration. This belt/strap can be purchased separately or with the bag on the Kachorovska website.
