The Kachorovska brand: inspiring responsibility
On October 19, the first Human Responsibility Day was celebrated in Ukraine. In addition to activities from the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation, partner organizations also presented their own initiatives on this day. In particular, the fashion brand Kachorovska has started raising funds for a training program for talented businesswomen.
The beginning of our cooperation
The cooperation between the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation and the Kachorovska fashion brand began in 2018 within the framework of the #bh15 project. Then, the brand created 15 bags with unique prints for the charity evening of the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation (more at the link). Each of the prints corresponds to a specific point of the Declaration of Human Responsibilities. Collaboration bags were also presented in the Ukrainian House at the Economic Forum in Davos.
“This is such a cool interpretation of a great story in daily life,” Alina Kachorovska shares her memories of the idea of collaboration.

New curriculum within the framework of cooperation
On October 19, Human Responsibility Day, Kachorovska announced a new collaboration with the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation. The idea is to conduct quality training for talented women entrepreneurs in the spring of 2022. “From handmade to scaling” is a program designed and created based on Kachorovska’s experience.
The history of the brand began in 1957. It intertwined kinship, tradition and sincere love for their work. It was in 1957 that Alina Kachorovska’s grandmother went to work as a seamstress in the Zhytomyr shoe artel. From that time until today, the Kachorowski family has been implementing this business: from individual orders to shoe production lines, from 7 shop workers to more than 100 ones. All this is a continuous path of development, in the process of which the small family studio has become a successful Kacho Group. Today Kachorovska is ready to share their experience with talented individuals. And they were inspired to create the program by the Declaration of Human Responsibilities.
“Why so? Because our company has decided that every year we will choose one point of the Declaration and will work with it. This year it is “Building an effective community”. In our case, building a fashion community,” says Alina Kachorovska about the idea of learning.
You can also support this initiative. On the website, Kachorovska launched the sale of goods, all profit from which will go to pay for the training program. These items are covers, straps, bags, bracelets with prints of the points of the Declaration of Human Responsibilities. You can choose the item that you like the most or the one you want to develop in yourself. Charitable donations are also welcome. They will also be used to pay for tuition.

Fundraising will run from October 19 to December 31, 2021. Registration for the program will begin in January 2022.
