The central idea of the Responsibility Marathon is to highlight the positive changes that happen every day and the active, engaged Ukrainians who are making them. Each year, at the beginning of May, participants explore the principles of Bohdan Hawrylyshyn’s Declaration of Human Responsibilities and plant sunflower seeds as a symbol of personal growth and awareness of one’s responsibility for the future.
